On Monday, 15 June 2015 The Market Intelligence Co. featured in a news report for Channel 9 News. Reporting on our Mystery Traveller project, the story included a brief interview with Wesley Hill who gave an overview of the aim and benefits of using mystery shoppers to gather intelligence on the cleanliness of public transport vehicles and stops, announcements and customer service. Two other people interviewed in the streets responded favourably to the idea stating it was a great way to gather such intelligence and that it may mean improvement to customer service on Melbourne public transport. Naturally the voice of the naysayers was heard with a member of the Public Transport Users Association claiming that the feedback from customers was sufficient to make a change. However the overall bulletin leaned favourably towards the project’s merits and recognised the excellent work that our transport team, in office and out in the field, are doing at TMIC.
