TMIC is expanding! We recently welcomed two new members into the family – Michael Hughes and Rex Song.
Michael joins the TMIC Field and Coding department as Senior Analyst having previously specialised in managing availability and creating rosters for a team of casual theatre employees. This skill set was utilised to meet the varying labour requirements of Sydney’s top theatres from back of house lighting and mechanical technicians to front of house ushers and theatre managers. Career highlights to date have included the roster management for five Sydney Film Festivals at the State Theatre and being Front of House manager for the annual Opera in the Vineyards event –an open air event with 5000 patrons. Michael’s skill set also includes 25 years experience as a Pastrychef, much of that time spent in Sydney’s five star hotels and a stint having his own business in Coogee. He bakes now for pleasure with a focus healthy eating and the paleo diet. His interests include playing guitar, live music, design and transportation – a useful interest for his new role at TMIC.
Rex, who has joined TMIC in the role of Head of Analytics, has a background in mathematics, majoring in statistics and has over 15 years experience in the market research industry. Having previously worked as DP Manager and Head of Analytics in various research companies he comes armed with a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise. Rex enjoys spending time with his family and would love to increase their outdoor activity time trekking through the bush, camping and fishing. He is looking forward to working on the diverse range of TMIC projects as well as being part of our ‘family-like’ team.
