TMIC’s 2013 Offsite Strategy Session

TMIC’s 2013 Offsite Strategy Session
August 23, 2013 TMIC

This year’s offsite strategy session brought us to the beautiful location of Lake Macquarie.  Our two day conference was held at Rafferty’s, a resort nestled amongst the trees on a quite bay of Cam’s Wharf.  The area surrounding the resort was traditionally known as Galgabba Creek, which means “a good place to rest”.

Even though the two days were filled mainly with work related activities, we still managed to take some time out for a fun team bonding experience of quad biking at Glenworth Valley’s purpose built bike track. We were each given our very own four wheeled fun machine and taken through a safety briefing followed by some practical training and assessments before we hit the biking track for an hour and a half of “pedal to the metal” madness. Although some of the team took to the activity a little more confidently than others in the group; all in all everyone had a fantastic time. We also enjoyed some lavish lunches, delicious dinners and decadent desserts over the two days. Oh and we even managed to fit in a great game of bingo with a select few enjoying the very apt prize of a meat tray voucher. Thanks Angela!

We hope you enjoy the pictures.
