The race that stops the nation also stopped TMIC for our annual Melbourne Cup International luncheon. So what’s so special about a TMIC Melbourne Cup lunch? Everyone brings a main course or a dessert from their own culture. As a diverse group of people, we all enjoyed so much delicious food from Greek, Chinese, South African, Belgian, South American, Norwegian, British and Australian cuisines. We enjoyed everything that is traditionally done on Melbourne Cup day… the girls wore fascinators, the boys wore hats/bandannas, we had a punt on the office sweep and watched the race whilst squeezing in some pretty amazing desserts. Another really enjoyable event.
