It was that time of year again, for the race that stops a nation.
In TMIC tradition, we took the opportunity to don hats, a crown, fascinators, caps, and even a pair of antlers, as we partook in our international smorgasbord Melbourne Cup lunch. Everyone in the team contributed to the spread with some amazing homemade dishes. Over the years we have been known to put on some fabulous spreads, with this year not disappointing. From Greek and Italian to Asian (and many things in between), right down to the good old favourite Aussie Pav, we watched the race with full bellies having spent a wonderful afternoon together bonding as a team.
Oh, and I’m happy to report that I came first in this year’s sweep! (which I may or may not have organised)
